Bored, Haze and Hawaii
Ini gambar Westin Maui Resort in Hawaii. Tak dak jerebu dan langit dan laut sama membiru.I'm terribly bored with dense people. I'm awfully tired with unreasonable people. And I'm so sick with the haze (nasib baik hujan semalam). What to do? Just ignore them and move on.
Oleh kerana bosan teramat and to put some excitement into my life today, I decided to main scanner kat office lagi. This time I scanned pictures of Westin Hotel in Maui (bunyi macam Mawi). I stayed at this hotel while I was attending a conference in Hawaii a few years ago. It was such a wonderful hotel. I resolve to bring the family over one day. InsyaAllah!
This is where we had a welcome cocktail on the first night we were there. I minum Coke jer lar.
This is simply stunning. This the hotel lobby. I was so damn tired masa sampai (what with the missed flight and all) but to be greeted with such breathtaking surroundings more than made up with all the trouble that I have to endure while coming over. And we all know how pleasant the weather in Hawaii is, right? To make it more wonderful, the receptionist masa tu speak Malay.

The Girls and the Boys. Is it happening already?
Makin menginjak dewasa budak-budak kat rumah ni makin bertambah ler cerita yang menarik rupanya... seperti
1. We just found out that a certain boy - a Malay boy - who happens to be Arissa's classmate at school lives somewhere in our block. I've met the boy several times but only realise that he's Arissa's classmates a couple of weeks ago when we terserempak ngan dia after I picked the girls at school. Arissa macam tension jer masa tu. In fact, budak tu pun macam saja lambat2 datang kat lift bila nampak kami. In fact, when I sesaja invited the boy to share the elevator, the boy lagi control macho dan kata "TAK PE"
Anyway today, Yan picked the girls up from school and terserempak ngan the boy again at the elevator. The boy pun pada mulanya tak nak join in until Yan ajak berulang kali. Agaknya sebab segan dia pun kata yes and was walking towards the elevator nak masuk ler. Elok dia sampai jer depan pintu lift tu Arisssa boleh press the close button. Talk about shutting a door right in front other people's face. Alia and Asma punyer ler menjerit2 ketawa lepas tu. Kejam jugak Arissa ni yer.
Apakah namanya jejaka itu? Biarlah Rahsia.....
2. The girls moved to their present school last year. Previously they attended a private Islamic school in Shah Alam. Apparently, they are happier here at a Sekolah Kebangsaan. Good for them. And we just found out that when Asma became a new girl in her class last year she had (as told to Alia the sister who had sworn to secrecy but had told these interesting bit of information to Bapak and Mak nevertheless)...
a. a boy sent a note professing that dia minat kat Asma
b. another boy told another friend that dia minat kat Asma
c. and boy number three went straight up to Asma and told her that he likes her.
Budak-budak darjah empat ni. Boleh?
3. Alia. What about Alia? She left her heart in Shah Alam, I think...... kah kah kah. Tapi sekarang dah ada pengganti kot.... siapa? Tungguuuuuu perkembangan selanjutnya nanti.
And How Does Bapak feel about all these?
Bapak: I Like. I Like. I Like!!!!!

Kantoi Masa Main
Ini cerita masa budak-budak kat rumah masih dia orang kecik. Zaman dia orang belum sekolah lagi. Dah namanya bebudak, macam-macam games dia orang akan main. Dari main dolls ke main masak-masak.
Satu hari dia orang bertiga main doktor-doktor. Bukan tak de toys macam doctor equipment dibeli tapi tah macam mana hari tu dia orang jumpa satu benda yang serupa dengan thermometer (betul ke nih). Jadi dia orang pun guna lah benda tu main doktor-doktor.
Siap yang sakit tu masuk dalam mulut lagi thermometer tu – kononnya nak check temperature lar tu.
Apakah dia sebenarnya yang dikatakan thermometer itu?
Err sebenarnya benda itu ialah pregnancy kit yang telah digunakan oleh Yan. Kah! Kah! Kah! Kah!

Malam Lailatu Qadar
Di Bulan Ramadan ini ramai orang berlumba untuk mengejar kelebihan malam Lailatul Qadar. Ini kisah bulan puasa my mother in law a few years ago. Masa tu she stayed with us kat rumah lama di USJ 20. I have to record this story.
Satu malam di bulan puasa masa tu, my mother in law menunaikan solat tarawikh kat rumah jer sebab hari tu dia tak larat nak ke masjid. Dia solat agak lewat macam after midnight gitu.
Dalam pada dia solat tu tetiba dia tercium bau yang harum mula menusuk hidung dia. (Masa ni kami semua dah tidur) Makin lama makin harum suasana dalam bilik dia. Alhamdullilah kata hati mak mertua saya ni. Dapat merasa malam Lailatul Qadar. Maka orang tua tu pun lepas selesai solat tarawikh terus sujud syukur. Bersyukur kerana diberi kesempatan dan peluang sebegini rupa. Lepas solat dia pun keluar bilik dengan hasrat nak beritahu kami yang dah lama belayar ke Bidor. Bukak2 jer pintu bilik tengok2 suasana putih (macam kabus) menyelubungi rumah.
Dan dalam kabus tebal tu, duduk Arissa (masa ni umur dalam tiga atau empat tahun) sedang main dan menghabiskan sebotol bedak Baby Carrie yang baru dibeli.
Tu yang wangi satu rumah tu!!!
