Like today I decided to "rename" my daughters with new names.
For the sheer fun of it, I'm calling Alia - Cinta, Asma - Kasih and Arissa - Asmara.
(of course I've gotten "daggers" look from them before they proceeded to ignore me totally).
But I'm not that easily disheartened. But I can be quite persistent.... and before long all of them screamed in frustration. Ahaaaaah, mission accomplished!

Or else I kacau the wife .... like today when she decided to cook nasi lemak for lunch, I 'demanded" that she "decorate" the nasi lemak. She lovingly obliged ... hehehe.
I love being a Suami!!!!

Oooh, those are nice alternate names.
I suggested Qasih as a name when my brother asked for suggestion for his new-born baby.
He named her Maisarah instead ("Kalau pi belajar kat oversea, dia boleh letak number plate kereta dia SARA," my brother had said back then).
I have since re-spelt it Mysara and she questioned her father as to why her name was not spelt that way ... hehehehehe!

Yes, last Saturday was hari mendera anak bini...bila lagi nak bermanja2 mcm nih... already the two older girls are keeping secrets from us the parents.... you know when we enter the room they'll stop talking and all....
aha!! this gives me idea to decorate the food so that my family would eat more (things that look like the one bought in kedai always laku at my house hehe..)

So enjoy laa Pak.. I wish I can enjoy life as a Bapak like you.. me being an absent father most of the time.
I wonder in sometimes in my old age if what I've been doing is worth it. I miss all the major milestones in my kids life. Will they resent it?
